Welcome, dear friends, to this developing website that is part of a larger peace-cultivating project that will include an activity book for children, prayer quilt projects for children and adults, a bumper sticker, and grants from The Twelve Gifts of Birth Foundation.

The seed of inspiration for this project was planted on Thanksgiving Day 2004 when I wrote Peace to All People on Earth – A Prayer from America, a simple prayer that is timely and timeless, universal and inclusive.

This project is part of my overall commitment to further the message of The Twelve Gifts, which reminds us that all the children of the world are born with the inherent gifts of strength, beauty, courage, compassion, hope, joy, talent, imagination, reverence, wisdom, love and faith. It is vital that we recognize these gifts in ourselves and others, in all cultures and creeds, and that we tap into the power of these gifts to heal, enrich, and empower every area of our lives.
